Please forgive me. I have had my head so far in work and side hustles that I have neglected you.
The good news books, is that I am ready to welcome you back into my life and Amazon have made some brilliant recommendations for me to review.
I am fussy with things like books so, let us review a few and get some comments from our friends.
Dear NHS: 100 Stories to Say Thank You
A book of stories written by 100 household names, thanking the NHS for their service.
The great thing about this book, other than the stories, is that all profits from the sale of the book will go to NHS Charities Together, which funds vital research and projects, and The Lullaby Trust which supports parents of babies and young children.
Pinch of nom- everyday light
This is a bit of a cheat as I already own this book and its predecessor however, I have never really taken the time to review the recipes.
Looking after my health is a top priority at the moment. Having had little time out of the house, this one is definitely one to review soon. Undoubtedly covering the pages in saliva too.
This is me
Bound to be a positive hit with the ‘Hinchers’. Mrs. Hinch’s book about her seemingly overnight success is due to be released on 1 October 2020.
I’ll get this one on order now!
Having seen the BBC adaptation of this book, I’m keen to see how true to the book it stays. It’s currently on sale on Amazon too, so it’s a no brainer as my next book.
The fifth book on my list is this honest, up-close, and disarming portrait of Harry and Meghan who are determined to create a new life away from the spotlight.
The book says that it goes beyond the tabloids and is released on 11 August 2020.
That’s another one preordered and on my list.
And that’s it for now books. I am looking forward to having a good read through all five of these and hope to be sharing a follow up post with you in a couple of months to review the next ones.
If reading isn’t for you, how about a film?
If you like what you have read, please leave a comment or your own recommendations for me.
