About 12 months ago I found myself in a massive style rut! I was looking at furthering my career at work and that age old saying kept ringing in my head. ‘Dress for the job you want, not the one you have’.
I came across a clothing subscription service and had a couple of boxes from them, but the clothes were expensive and of poor quality. Due to the magic of Facebook (and their ways of finding out your interests and what you have been looking at), I was shown a link for Stitchfix and this is how it works!
Log on to their website or their app and use my referral code to get an immediate £15 credit and follow the instructions through to register and specify your preferences, sizes and how much you are willing to pay for each item in the style quiz.
Select how often you want to receive a box. There is no subscription required and you can manually request a box at anytime.
You pay a £10 styling fee for every box (don’t forget the £15 referral for your first box to make it risk free).
Stitchfix send you 5 items for you to try on at home and you check out what you want to return, keep or exchange on their site or app and pay for what you keep. If you keep all 5 items, you will receive a 20% discount.
Anything you don’t want to keep, you put back in the box, seal and take to either a Hermes shop or post office. Delivery, returns and exchanges are all free!
I have just received box number 14 and I am going to halt my orders for a while as I have enough clothes to be going on with at the moment, especially as I am currently 12 weeks into working from from home. But it is such a fantastic service and the stylists genuinely listen to what you say in your preferences and feedback.
Hopefully, you will get something out of using the service, so let me know your thoughts below in the comments.
Fancy giving it a try? :
